

JFNew has an Aquatics group dedicated to working with lake associations, conservancy districts, watershed groups and municipalities to develop sound watershed management plans. Our involvement often begins with assisting in the development of the grant application through state and/or federal agencies. Once funded, we work with you to develop a plan that will meet future project implementation funding requirements for state and federal grant programs. From surveys of aquatic plants, macro-invertebrates, mussels, and fish and water quality analysis to leading public meetings, we will lead your group and the stakeholders within the watershed to:
Most importantly, we understand and keep up on the requirements of watershed management plans for future funding. This is crucial for obtaining additional funding and maintaining momentum for moving through the design and implementation phases following the plan. JFNew's experience with construction of similar projects, including design/build solutions, will ensure you obtain results.
